Painting as a radiating center, generating original images. Forms always appear in metamorphosis, on the verge of emerging or hiding in the multiplication of infinite signs that sometimes crystallize outside the painting into small sculptures or enigmatic objects. My work always stems from a questioning of the nature of things, a need for understanding that finds in the indeterminate the manifestation of an epiphany.

Isola Madre: small islands (7 acrylics on linen canvas 30x30 cm) orbit around a mother island (acrylic on linen canvas 90x90 cm), frayed forms that seem to move between a wave and a backwash.

Acqua Ignea (acrylic on linen canvas 90x90 cm): fire burns in the water, water in flames. Elements that generate an unstable, primordial image.

Teresa Iaria (born in Lamezia Terme, 1968) is an artist who moves thought through Painting. Her education in Art intersects with the study of Philosophy. Her work has always engaged in a transdisciplinary dialogue. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and her works are in public and private collections. She teaches at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and is part of the Edizioni degli Animali in Milan.
